TEAMS:
Baseball: There are three All-Star teams that will be chosen by our coaches: 9/10; 10/11; and 11/12. Age is as of 4/30/10. Eight-year-olds are not eligible.
Softball: We are going to field softball All-Star teams for the first time this year! There will be two teams (numbers permitting): a 9/10 and 11/12. Age is as of 12/31/09.
PLAYER COMMITMENT: Player commitment must be 100%. This means that players may not miss any practices or games due to other sports commitments, camps, or vacations. In the event of an unexpected family issue, a short absence (1 or 2 days) may be approved by the All-Star coach in advance.
PLAYING TIME: Little League rules mandate a minimum of one at-bat and three defensive outs be played by all players on game roster. Please understand that this may be the most playing time your child receives in any given game, as playing time may not be equal and is at the sole discretion of the coaching staff.
NOTIFICATION / FEES: Players selected will be notified by June 15. Daily practice may begin on June 16; district tournaments begin around June 30. Note that 10-11 practice and tournaments typically start later. The fee is $100; scholarships are available.
