AAA LEAGUE - NEW THIS YEAR!
DESCRIPTION: Player/coach-pitch league which prepares players for the more competitive National League the following year. This goal of this league is to develop player skills and get them involved in a more controlled game. Please note that this is not a "drop-off" league; parents are required to stay throughout practices and games.
AGE: Baseball-playing 8-year-olds and 9-year-olds looking for a continued greater focus on individual development in a less competitive environment (age as of April 30, 2010).
FIELDS: Elementary schools / Dorset Park/ Upper Farrell / JC Park
GAMES/PRACTICES: Three times per week. Mon/Wed/Fri evening or Sat morning. Days may vary week to week. Weekday times for April are 5:30-7 p.m. Times for Sat a.m. vary. Games end by 7:30 p.m. No inning may start after 7 p.m. 90-minute game limit on Sat.
MEET THE COACHES NIGHT: March 25, 6 p.m. @ SBHS Auditorium
LEAGUE COORDINATOR: Tim Baechle (660-4370)PEANUT LEAGUE
DESCRIPTION: Coach-pitch league with a focus on skill development, including simulated games to increase the players' understanding of baseball. Scores are not officially recorded. Please note that this is not a "drop-off" league; partents are required to stay throughout practices and games.
