SKILLS CHECK: It is the intention of SBYBS to make the AAA league a bit more competitive with more emphasis on player development so as to better prepare players for the Minor s. Also, the SBYBS wants to do its best to ensure a balance of skilled players on each team. To that end, all AAA registrants will be asked to attend a “skills check” in order to assist the league in creating balanced AAA teams. Friend ‘play-with’ requests will continue to be considered in the team-making process but as the second priority rather than the first.

This process will continue until the spots are filled.

EVALUATIONS: Minor League Teams are created by a draft system. The goal of the draft is to ensure each team has equal distribution of skill and ability and to balance the number of players per team. Player evaluations are a necessary part of this process. Anyone registering to play in the Minors is expected to attend evaluations. Players should wear sneakers, bring a glove and attend the full session for their league. If for any reason a player cannot attend the evaluations, please email [email protected] in advance. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance to allow for check-in time.
